Instead of Skills Worksheets, Continuing Students are required to complete Publication Review Forms every time their work is published in print.

You will receive an email when your work is published, and that email will include a link to your Publication Review form. You MUST complete it within a week of publication. The purpose of the Publication Reviews is so that you can learn by comparing the published version of your article to your submitted version. 

If you’ve had your work published in the Korea Daily or online, you’ve probably noticed differences between the published version and your last revised version. These changes have been made to get your articles where they need to be for publication. Sentences are rearranged to be more grammatically correct or rhetorically forceful. Ideas are reorganized to flow more naturally and highlight the most important aspects of the stories.

Occasionally, new context is brought in to complete thoughts that are teased but not fully realized in the original articles. Most commonly, the articles are also condensed in order to be more dynamic and to fit in the space allotted to us by the Korea Daily.
